FlashLoad is a simple tool to Download, Save and Convert Videos and Files from YouTube, Google Video, Metacafe, etc. with one simple click. At the mentioned pages it's the problem, that all issued Videos are embedded into the page or into Flash. So they normally can't be downloaded directly. For this, our service provides the possibility to resolve the download link from the page. Simply choose the page, which you want to download from and get a description what you have to do. (Note: Some videos you download have the ".flv" (Flash Video) extension, to play them use the FLV Player you can find in our FAQ-Section)
First make sure the extension is .flv
Use VLC Player or FLV Player to open the file.
Use SUPER Converter.
Install and run SUPER Converter. It allows you to convert most formats (incl .flv) to play on PSP.
Install and run SUPER Converter. It allows you to convert most formats (incl .flv) to play on iPod.
To change to .flv, find your downloaded file and change the file extension from .php to .flv
If there is no extension, then simply add .flv to the filename.
You may need to enable file extensions if you cannot see the .php:
- In any folder on your hard drive go to "Tools" > "Folder Options" > "View" tab then scroll down to "Hide extensions for known file types" and uncheck that box.
Click "OK" to save changes. Now you should see the file extension which you can rename.
The Embedded-Search is a functionality of FlashLoad which enables you to download all embedded videos of foreign homepages. Please note that the video site has to be supported by our service. For this do not copy the URL of the video site, simply copy the link of the site where the video is embedded. The download will start in some seconds!
For sure! Simply use our homepage and share it with your friends, acquaintances and relatives. Further you could link us on your homepage or you can publish us in boards, message boards and/or blogs! If you are member of a Social Bookmarking community you could bookmark us using the following list of links.
MySpace requires users to have Flash 9 installed to watch their videos, but this prevents videos from being able to spawn new browser windows, thanks to the update.
To get around this, copy the code below into your flash application, and drop this file into your code folder.
<view id="geturl" resource="geturl.swf"/>
<some method>
_root.url = "http://www.yourdomain.com/linkyouwanttoopen.html";
geturl.play(1, false);
</some method>
